About me

Hi!

I'm Annette and i'm an architect and urban planner. Since completing my studies in 2016, at the Architecture School of Oslo, I have worked for the municipality of Nordre Follo, just south of Oslo.

The work in the public sector has given me a solid knowledge of the processes related to planning, meeting social and environmental requirements and building regulations.

I'm passionate about the discipline of architecture and how architecture meets the context of its environment. And I have an ever-growing interest in our cultural built heritage and conservation. The value of reusing existing buildings also aligns with lowering our carbon footprint. My master thesis was such a study in reusing existing apartment buildings to give them new context and simultaneously revitalise the urban spaces around.

I actively follow the developments in architecture and especially the work that Futurebuilt is doing, as I have a role as a local board member to oversee potential new projects for the municipality of Nordre Follo.

I also currently hold a role as project manager to develop a 3D-model that can visualise and communicate the future developments in and around the center of Ski.
